Boy or Girl?
Today was our big anatomy scan! Thankfully, everything looked great and there were no issues to speak of. I do have a little bit of an anterior placenta, which I was starting to suspect because although I have been feeling some baby movements for awhile, I am never able to feel them when my hand is on my stomach (I only feel them from the inside, if that makes sense). Anterior means the placenta is laying between the baby and me, towards the front, and it can make it harder to feel movement from the outside. Other than that, it’s no big deal! Also, baby is breech, but that’s also no biggie at this point. Plenty of time to move into the proper position, and baby likely changes positions a lot during the course of the day. Everything looks perfect and we are so, so thankful.
But of course, we were DYING to know if we are having a boy or a girl.
Thankfully, baby cooperated and didn’t make us wait too long. In fact, it was the first image we saw on the screen. The Bookworm Baby is definitely a…
